Desperately longing to be the glamorous showgirl, Miss Bettsy Rose Lee somehow nearly always ends up onstage dressed as a giant, tasty morsel of food.
Winner of Miss Burlesque New Zealand 2011 and Runner Up in the Supreme Grand Tease New Zealand 2016, she has been performing burlesque since 2010. She draws on her years of training and experience in drama, musical theatre, classical ballet and tap when putting together her acts and enjoys telling a story and taking her audience on a fun and fantastical journey. It is also not uncommon for her to literally have them eating out of the palm of her hand.
A leader in the Hamilton scene, Bettsy is Head Diva of Glamilton’s Burlesque Divas and enjoys teaching the art of the tease to a wide variety of beautiful and inspiring women. Her favourite part of burlesque is being witness to the transformations her students undergo through classes as they grow in confidence and self-esteem and as new friendships flourish.
In 2014, Miss Bettsy Rose Lee was delighted to be named a finalist in 3 categories at the NZ Golden Garter Awards and absolutely thrilled to win two – ’Most Likely to Pop a Pastie’ and ’Favourite Act’ for “2013: A Cupcake Odyssey”. In 2015, she made her international debut in Sydney at the Australian Burlesque Festival.

The blonde bombshell fell into the world of burlesque by accident in 2013. Under the tutelage of Misty La Moore and Miss Cherry Lashes at the Hootchy Kootchy Girls Auckland, she found her home on the stage.
Since then, Miss Kitty Rose has been dazzling audiences with a provocative attitude and a vintage inspired charm. This golden garter nominated performer is a temptress of tease and a golden girl of glamor.
MKR competed in the Hamilton Heat of the first ever Grand Tease New Zealand competetion and took out the title of 'Best Newbie'. She also won 'Best Newcomer' for the Rock n Roll circus in 2015.
Described by emcee and maestro Mickey Havoc as "The essence of burlesque" Miss Kitty Rose uses her self assured elegance and strong musicality to create her own sparkly reality.
